Schotia Safaris

Schotia is one of the first private game reserves in South Africa, located on the border of the Addo Elephant National Park. Schotia Safaris offers a four-hour guided game drive in an open-top Land Rover, where you can encounter lions and a variety of other wildlife species.

The experience concludes with a delicious buffet dinner, prepared over open fires, with dinner and drinks included in the price.

Addo Elephant Back Safaris

Addo Elephant Back Safaris is situated within the Greater Addo Elephant National Park. Discover nature from an elephant’s perspective as you walk alongside these gentle giants, observing their habits in their natural surroundings. This safari is designed to provide a memorable experience of learning about and interacting with one of Africa’s most majestic mammals.

After the walk, enjoy the thrill of riding these elephants to their favourite waterhole, where you can watch them swim and wallow in the mud.

Addo Indlovu Spa provides guests with the opportunity to unwind in the comfort of their rooms or a private massage in their unit at the nearby Reception at Main Camp. Day visitors need not feel excluded as the treatments are for both overnight and day guests.

Daniell Cheetah Breeding Project

Established in May 2001 with just three cats, the Daniell Cheetah Breeding Project has grown significantly through breeding, purchases, and exchanges of animals. The project aims to contribute to cheetah conservation, the re-establishment of pure gene lines, and educating visitors about the importance of protecting this remarkable species.

Guests can enjoy a personalised tour and interact with the animals, including touching cheetahs and posing for photographs. Situated on the R75 national road, about a 45-minute drive from Addo.

Crisscross Adventures

Crisscross Adventures has been an Addo-based tour operator since 2005, specialising in individual, family, and group tours. Their local Addo tours include game drives through the Addo Elephant National Park, as well as other activities such as river, beach, and mountain safaris, with a focus on birdwatching.

Designed with photography enthusiasts in mind, these tours provide ample time to absorb the scenery and capture the perfect shot.
