Located right on our doorstep, Addo Elephant National Park is a must-visit destination, boasting five of South Africa’s seven plant biomes and home to the iconic Big 7.
De Old Drift offers daily guided tours specially for guests staying with. This tour departs daily from De Old Drift Guest House in our own open safari vehicle and can accommodate up to 9 guests.

Alongside our guided tours, guests have the opportunity to dive into adventure activities such as bird watching, hiking, horse riding, and canoe safaris.

It‘s a lovely place near Addo Elephant National Park. We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable. Our cottage was very clean and we had a nice view to a creek. Our son enjoyed the playground a lot. The pool was perfect to refresh, swim and relax. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A good supermarket is near the farm. We definitely recommend the De Old Drift Guest Farm.

Old Drift is amazing. The staff are super friendly, even meeting us in the car park to welcome us! The unit we stayed in was 5 star- well equipped and sparkling clean! Very comfortable beds and the bathroom is awesome. Dinner was good too! Very well situated to visit the Addo Elephant Park.

Good service, thank you so much. The food and wine is fantastic. Guests have a nice view over some mountains right next to the Sundays River. Ample parking for waentjies and caravans for those traveling from Gauteng. Very quiet area just out of town within a lemon farm. You will see some elephants on the right-hand side about 20km before you get to this destination.
